- Sonnet 5 replaced Sonnet 4.6 as the default Sonnet (30 June 2026). Intro $2/$10 was made permanent on the Sonnet 5 announcement.
- Opus 5.5 is the current Opus at $4 / $20 (API ID claude-opus-5-5). Opus 5 (24 July 2026, $5 / $25) is legacy. No ship date for Opus 5.5 was on the models overview read 23 September 2026.
- Fable 5.1 (1 Sept 2026) sits above Opus; Fable 5 remains listed at the same $10/$50 with higher cache-hit cost than 5.1.
