Where are the current Claude seat and API prices?
US list read 23 September 2026 on claude.com/pricing and the Team Help Center article: Free $0. Pro $20 per month, or $17 per month when billed annually ($200 up front). Max from $100 per month. Team Standard $25 per member per month, or $20 billed annually. Team Premium $125 per month, or $100 annually. Enterprise $20 per seat per month plus usage at API rates, billed annually. Current API per million tokens: Haiku 4.5 $1 / $5, Sonnet 5 $2 / $10, Opus 5.5 $4 / $20, Fable 5.1 $10 / $50. Opus 5 remains listed at $5 / $25 and is not the current Opus. Open Claude pricing.
Which Claude model is current?
The models overview read 23 September 2026 lists Fable 5.1 (claude-fable-5-1), Opus 5.5 (claude-opus-5-5, start here for most workloads), Sonnet 5 (claude-sonnet-5), and Haiku 4.5 (claude-haiku-4-5-20251001). A ship date for Opus 5.5 was not on that page. Open the current model tracker.
How do I set up the Anthropic console and API keys?
Create the key, add prepaid credits, and set a spend cap at console.anthropic.com. A chat seat does not include API credits. Walkthrough: Anthropic Console.
What are the usage limits and file errors?
claude.com/pricing says there is no fixed message count. Limits reset on a rolling five-hour session window, and paid plans add weekly limits. Pro is at least 5× Free per five-hour session. Max is 5× or 20× Pro per five-hour session. The error-string quotes on the limits desk were not re-read from Anthropic on 23 September 2026. Open usage limits and file errors.
Is there a Claude student discount?
No standing individual Pro discount. The Pro plan Help Center article, updated 23 September 2026, says Anthropic does not offer standard discounted pricing on paid plans. Education is a university plan. Open student and education.
