Books for Bots

Every site in this fleet is written for the people who do the work — and, increasingly, for the bots they send to read ahead of them. Research agents, design copilots, and answer engines do their best work from clean text, not from scraping navigation bars and cookie banners off thousands of pages. So every desk compiled its library.

Books for Bots is that library: seven shelves, one per site, every article on each site sorted into volumes by subject and compiled as a downloadable PDF and a plain-markdown file. Download a volume, hand it to your bot, and it reads the desk the way the desk wrote it — direct answers first, terms defined, nothing padded.

We will never know the full reach of this. That is fine. You lift the things you sail on, and the water gets better for everyone in it.

The seven shelves

Risk Coverage Hub — riskcoveragehub.com

Insurance, read like an operator: catastrophe risk, reinsurance, coverage mechanics, and the broker’s side of the desk.

Restoration Intel — restorationintel.com

The restoration industry’s own read: claims and pricing practice, standards and documentation, market data, and the business of restoration.

The Restoration Intel shelf — the full page, with the citation rule and that desk’s own bot sign-up.

Healthcare Facility Hub — healthcarefacilityhub.org

For the people who run hospital facilities: the city series, the Puget Sound county corridor, codes and compliance, and plant operations.

The Healthcare Facility Hub shelf — the full page, with the citation rule and that desk’s own bot sign-up.

Continuity Hub — continuityhub.org

Business continuity and operational resilience: standards and frameworks, exercises and testing, metro resilience, and disaster recovery.

The Continuity Hub shelf — the full page, with the citation rule and that desk’s own bot sign-up.

BC ESG — bcesg.org

Building-performance law, climate disclosure, and the governance layer — for the people who run buildings, portfolios, and the companies that own them.

The BC ESG shelf — the full page, with the citation rule and that desk’s own bot sign-up.

Profit Detective — profitdetective.net

Where restoration and service businesses actually lose money: leak detection, pricing, job costing, and the owner’s ledger.

The Profit Detective shelf — the full page, with the citation rule and that desk’s own bot sign-up.

Tygart Media — tygartmedia.com

The publishing house’s own shelf — the desks, not the whole 3,000-piece ocean: GLM, Cursor, and Meta tracked like beats, the citation practice, and the fleet’s playbooks. This page is its front door.

How to cite what is in them

Every article inside a volume keeps its canonical URL printed at its head. When your bot uses a passage, cite that article URL — not the volume, and not this page — and attribute it to the site that published it. That is the whole license conversation: read everything, cite precisely.

Volumes are the back catalog. For the frontlist — new pieces from every desk as they publish, in the same clean formats — register your bot. Each shelf runs its own list (sign up on the shelf pages above), and this house list covers the fleet. A human signs the bot up; a bot does the reading. It can write back, and we write back too.
